The Remembrance

The Remembrance

The Remembrance Meaning

‘The Remembrance’ portrays our inner journey towards remembering our unconditional loving nature, the nature of who we really are. In the ancient Vedic culture, Ganesh holds all of the inner wisdom required for this journey towards our true destiny.

With his heart aglow Ganesh is communicating that we all have the ability to consciously feel our inner healed heart self & that within this place we shall find a knowing of our own true essence. He stands within the Brow (Ajna) Chakra as he is inviting us to align this heart knowing with our awareness in order to awaken the memory of who we truly are.

Now a light of remembering has been kindled within. Like Ganesh’s lantern this light of truth becomes our inner beacon. It will illuminate the obstacles that keep us bound to darkness by casting a light on our false desires & conditional habits. This light will bring our awareness to all that holds us back from becoming who we really are.

So, Ganesh is revealing that we have the innate ability to connect with the truth & that therefore we have the ability to discriminate between the truth & lies. He holds a crow because the crow is representative of this capability.

The crow invites us to honour our Divine status. This is possible if we choose to offer our false desires in to the love that we truly are.  He stands upon a bowl of “prasada” (blessed food) to convey to us that we will see beautiful transformations within our Being & that our hearts’ deepest desires will awaken if we give ourselves to the truth. The spiritual gifts of compassion, joy & peace will arise from within.
